Due to the conflict of our usual meeting date of Tuesday October 11 with the beginning of Yom Kippur, the general meeting for this month will be on the third Tuesday, October 18 starting at 7 p.m. at:

This month will begin a series of technicals presented by members of our own Long Island-Nassau Chapter. We are fortunate to have a membership with a wide range of experience and knowledge, from which we all can benefit. The first installment will be by John Luca, who will demonstrate new tools by Wessel Nichol and Gross (WNG) for quick and accurate keybedding, and for setting dip and aftertouch; and time permitting, the use of other tools and gauges from this avid tool collector.

There will be no Executive Committee dinner prior to the general meeting. However if anyone would like to arrange to get together at a restaurant on Route 110 before the meeting, please call Michael Slavin at (516) 781-8888 and we will make plans.
