The general meeting for this month will be held on Tuesday, November 10 starting at 6 p.m. at:

Frank and Camille's was due to close at 6 p.m. the evening of our meeting, but will remain open just for the Long Island-Nassau Chapter of PTG. The meeting will start promptly, as the technical class promises to be very comprehensive and we hope to finish by 8 p.m. There will be no Executive Committee dinner prior to the general meeting.

Joe Bisceglie was unable to present his techical class at last month's meeting due to technical difficulties, but this month he will demonstrate the building of a Steinway action from the very beginning with the fabrication of the keyset, to the final installation and positioning within the piano and its alignment with the damper system and backaction. Joe was a production manager at Steinway for decades, and we are very fortunate that he has been a long-time member of our chapter. His knowledge of the Steinway piano is truly amazing and his presentation should not be missed.

Our December meeting will be our annual Holiday Party, to be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2008 at 7:00 PM at:
