The General Meeting
The general meeting for this month will be at our regular meeting place on Tuesday October 8, 2002 starting at 8 PM at:

(United Methodist) 881 Merrick Road Baldwin, NY This month's technical class will be give by Alex Kostakis of the noted Manhattan rebuilder, AC Pianocraft. He will be discussing action work.

by Marty Dinerstein - Secretary The meeting started at 8 PM at the church in Baldwin. Nine regular members and one guest attended. The minutes were read and accepted. The treasurer's report was read by Paul Keogler and accepted. The president's report was given by Paul Eccardt. We noted that American Piano Supply is no longer operating - it is part of Schaff Piano Supply in Illinois. Contact them for a current catalog. It was also noted that we are suspending our membership attendance survey. We discussed the chapter's finances and it was voted by the chapter to increase chapter dues by 40 dollars per year.
