having some meetings together, or even combining into one chapter. Michael Slavin thought it might be a good idea to have an outdoor party this year instead of the same old dinner at a restaurant. There was nobody up for bench testing and a few people up for tuning testing. There was no treasurer's report this month.

Jerry Gravina gave us a very interesting and informative technical on tuning and other technical matters. His tuning is divided into three parts, each of which is then divided into halves, giving him twelve equal parts. He also expands the temperament to two full octaves, from a-2 to a-4, but his basic temperament is from f to f. He also spoke about changing key tops, hammer boring, voicing, adjusting let-off, measuring hammer blow distance, hammer filing, how he cradles actions, and other great ideas.
