The General Meeting

The general meeting for this month will be at our regular meeting place on Tuesday March 13, 2001 starting at 8 PM at:

This month's technical class will be given by Kent Webb, the manager of service administration at Steinway. He will be giving a step-by-step analysis of the basic damper regulation wire bends, how and why they are made, and how to diagnose and adjust wires to correct common problems. If you've ever made 25 adjustments on the same wire and found yourself further away from correcting the problem, you'll want to attend this class.


Minutes of the February Meeting

On February 13, 2001, the Nassau Chapter of the PTG had its monthly meeting. We spoke about chapter members who didn't pay their dues. Paul Eccardt called the four members and thought it is likely that they will all pay. We also spoke about low turn-out at our meetings and shared the following ideas: a possible joint effort with the Nassau and Suffolk chapters' newsletter editors, putting technical and other things in both newsletters,
