The General Meeting

There will be no meeting for the month of February.

Proposed Minutes of the January 2018 Meeting
by Richard Liptzin - Secretary

Piano Technicians Guild meeting January 9, 2018 at Frank and Camille's.

Mike Slavin hosted our technical on vertical regulation. He began with key level regulation. Tip: always set level with end keys first. Mike showed us some jigs he created for leveling, key dip and letoff. The most intriguing jig was made from magnets. Really inventive jigs. Once again I must say you had to be there to appreciate all these cool tips from Mike. I'm sure if you have a question about any regulation, Mike will be glad to help you.

On another note, our president (not the one in the White House) Mike Slavin hurt his shoulder and arm. We all wish him a speedy recovery. I'm sure he wouldn't mind a phone call or two.
