The General Meeting

The general meeting for this month will be held on Tuesday, January 12 starting at 7 p.m. at:

Frank and Camille's Keyboard Center
371 Old Country Road
Carle Place, New York
(516) 333-2811
Please note: Frank and Camille's will now be closing at 8 p.m. The meeting must begin promptly.

This month's technical class will be "What do you have to sell?" by our own Paul Keogler. Paul will discuss evaluating your skill set and discovering where your strengths and weaknesses are, to improve them and increase your net profit. If time permits, he will also address how to determine if there is a demand for you to improve your skill set.

The Executive Committee will meet prior to the general meeting at 5 p.m. at the Olive Garden Restaurant, 1120 Old Country Road, Westbury, diagonally across the street from Frank and Camille's.

Annual reminder: It is now winter, and you should try to remember to remove your glues from your car overnight during the cold season. Constant freeze-thaw cycles can reduce the bonding properties and effectiveness of most adhesives (especially carpenter's wood glues such as Tite-Bond, PVC-E, etc.). And there is also the added inconvenience of trying to make a repair with a glue that is frozen solid or so thick that it will not flow.

The previous general meeting was our annual Holiday Party, held on Tuesday evening December 8, 2008, at Tesoro Ristorante in Westbury,
